Charity football match in memory of Housing Co-op founder Phil Welsh

West Whitlawburn Housing Co-operative have organised a charity football match in memory of their founder, Phil Welsh.

Phil passed away two years ago this month.

To honour his memory, the group he pioneered will host the game in aid of the Phil Welsh Welfare Fund on Sunday, August 9 from 4pm till 6pm.

The event, which takes place at the Toryglen Regional Football Centre, will include beat the goalie, a raffle and drinks and snacks.

Tickets are £5 for adults and £2 for children and are available from the WWHC offices.
