Pro­ject 31 was hav­ing lots of fun at for­est school in Cam­bus­lang ear­lier this week.

The event, which was or­gan­ised by the Ruther­glen- based group that aims to pro­mote fam­ily time, was de­liv­ered in part­ner­ship with Friends of Cam­bus­lang Park, and en­abled two groups of fam­i­lies to go along for a full week of morn­ings or af­ter­noons of for­est school ac­tiv­i­ties.

The ses­sions took place in the park’s des­ig­nated site and fam­i­lies were able to build their skills over the five days.

The early years morn­ing group en­joyed themed sto­ries, us­ing the mud kitchen, po­tion mak­ing, climb­ing, us­ing tools, wa­ter play, cave paint­ing, mini den and den build­ing, art and lots of bug and scavenger hunts.
