Woman in court over an assault at town’s Sky Bar
A Cambuslang woman appeared at court accused of assault at Harley’s Sky Bar in Rutherglen.
Sammy Lea Walker, of Lilac Wynd, appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Tuesday, August 4.
On January 25 at the pub, located in Main Street, Walker is accused of assaulting a man by punching him on the body.
The 27-year-old is also alleged to have assaulted a woman by seizing her by the hair and attempting to punch her on the head.
She is also accused of assaulting another man by repeatedly kicking and punching him on the body. Walker is further alleged to have acted in a threatening and abusive manner by shouting and swearing.
She is alleged to have hindered three police constables in the execution of their duty by locking her arms to avoid being handcuffed and thereby resisting arrest.
At Cathcart Police Office she is accused of committing a breach of the peace by conducting herself in a disorderly manner by shouting, swearing and stating that she had been raped by police and that she was injured.
Walker pleaded not guilty and was ordained to re-appear in court on August 26.
