Man (63) in court
A Croftfoot man appeared at court accused of dodging a taxi fare and racially abusing a police officer.
Iain Neeson (63), of Croftburn Drive, appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday (August 3).
On February 21 at Aikenhead Road, Neeson is accused of hiring a taxi from the Brazen Head Pub on Cathcart Road to Croftburn Drive without paying the fee of £12. Neeson is also accused of acting in a racially aggravated manner towards a police constable by using language towards him that was racially abusive in nature.
He pleaded not guilty as is due to reappear on November 11. Bail was continued.
