Woman 48, on possession of drugs charges
A Croftfoot woman appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court yesterday on several drugs charges.
Elaine MacFarlane, of Croftfoot Drive, is accused of possessing Class B drug cannabis resin, on February 20 last year, at Castlemilk Braes Shopping Centre, Castlemilk Police Office, Dougrie Drive and elsewhere.
She is also accused of possessing the Class B drug amphetamine.
The 48-year-old is also accused of possessing a class A drug, namely methoxyamptheramine.
On February 21, 2014, at a premises on Croftfoot Drive, MacFarlane is accused of intentionally preventing a meter, used for measuring the quantity of electricity supplied to the property by an electricity supplier, from duly registering the quantity of electricity supplied.
She is further accused of disconnecting the meter from the main supply.
MacFarlane pleaded not guilty and is due to appear in court again for trial on September 8.
Bail was continued meantime.
