Woman ac­cused of at­tempt to dam­age a po­lice ve­hi­cle

A To­ry­glen woman ap­peared at court this week ac­cused of at­tempt­ing to dam­age a po­lice car.

Carolanne Con­nolly, of Prospecthill Cres­cent, ap­peared at Glas­gow Sher­iff Court on Mon­day.

The 31-year-old is ac­cused of com­mit­ting a breach of the peace by con­duct­ing her­self in a dis­or­derly man­ner by shout­ing, scream­ing, us­ing abu­sive lan­guage, strik­ing a po­lice ve­hi­cle with her fists and at­tempt­ing to re­move a wing mir­ror from the ve­hi­cle.

The al­leged in­ci­dent oc­curred in Prospecthill Cres­cent.

Con­nolly is ac­cused of com­mit­ting the of­fence while on bail.

She was granted bail on June 13 at Glas­gow Jus­tice of the Peace Court.

She pleaded not guilty to the charge and was or­dained to ap­pear for trial on Septem­ber 8.
