Make your lashes look lush

Rutherglen Reformer - - CAMBUSLANG PARK'S FUN DAY -

Beautiful fluttery eyelashes make you feel glamorous and feminine

but applying strip lashes can also make you see red as they are so finicky to put on.

And although it does look tricky, there is a knack to making your lashes look lush and it’s all down to the glue! Firstly, choose a nice natural set of lashes, ideally real hair as they blend well with your own.

I love Ardell Demi wispies.

You’ll also have a far easier time if you pick a set with a thin band too.

Hold the lash against your eye and trim off any excess if they’re loo long. Now trace the glue along the band, and here is the crucial bit, wait for it to dry off a little and go tacky.

This way the strip lash won’t slide about all over the place which is where most people give up, it will give you enough time to manoeuvre it in to place. Aim for the root of your lashes, holding the lash firmly in the middle with a pair of tweezers.

Place it in the middle of your eye, then press down each corner. Once in place, gently push them into the root and hold.

Voila! Now get fluttering.
