Kesha has key to style

Rutherglen Reformer - - CAMBUSLANG PARK'S FUN DAY -

This month singer Kesha is under the Star Style microscope.

As far as her style and make-up go, I just love the looks she rocks.

She’s sassy, cool and very individual - a true style chameleon who is never afraid to push boundaries and take a risk and she always manages to pull it off.

Every time you see a picture of her, she looks completely different to the last one, yet still recognisable.

She always mixes it up and that is no mean feat when you are photographed as often as she is.

And despite being well known for her edgier look, she doesn’t always wear crazy stage makeup.

However, it is her go-to look when she glams up to go out.

To get the Kesha look, black eyeshadow and smudged eyeliner are a must.

She often wears more make-up around her right eye, inspired by the cult A Clockwork Orange look, like a star or a lightning bolt.

The patterns are all very original, ranging from a black running eyeliner look, to neon bright slash marks.

You could go crazy recreating a Kesha look, but the thing to remember is to make the eyes dark, bold and smoky. Make them very exaggerated, never perfect.

Swirling some silver pigment around one eye is a good idea and don’t scrimp, put on plenty of it!

Ok, it’s perhaps not a look for a typical night out, but it would definitely look great for a trip to a music festival or a great gig.

If people think make-up needs to look perfect to be beautiful, they’re wrong.
