A Castlemilk pensioner appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court this week charged with dangerous driving and racist abuse.
Sinclair Sutherland (70), of Dougrie Road, appeared on Monday (August 17).
He is accused of driving a car dangerously on March 15 on Caledonian Avenue, by pulling out in front of another driving and stopping abruptly, causing the other driver to brake sharply to avoid collision. Sutherland is also accused of behaving in a racially aggravated manner by shouting, swearing and using racially abusive language.
He pleaded not guilty and is due to appear for trial on September 17. Bail was continued,.
