The Eat Better Feel Better roadshow rolls into town
A community roadshow offering families advice on how to eat healthily and look after themselves better will roll into Rutherglen today (Wednesday, August 19).
The Eat Better Feel Better team will be visiting Aldi on Harriet Street all day, with the roadshow taking place as part of the Scottish Government’s ongoing campaign.
Shoppers will be offered tips and advice, as well as a range of free resources to help them make healthier choices, including recipe leaflets, recipe fridge magnets and meal planners.
Earlier this year, the team visited locations throughout Glasgow and the west where more than 2,000 people attended the roadshows.
Public Health Minister Maureen Watt said: Our roadshows earlier this year were a big part of the campaign’s success and the team is thrilled to be out on the road again to spread the Eat Better Feel Better message among Scottish families.
“The response to Eat Better Feel Better has been overwhelmingly positive. The campaign’s message about how making small changes to your diet can have a big impact has really resonated with families across Scotland.”
Eat Better Feel Better launched earlier this year to help parents and families find quick, easy and affordable ways to make healthier changes to their diet.
