It was ice to see you at Castlemilk Church recently.

The church were holding their summer fun club and, like most of the local churches’ summer clubs, it had a theme of Polar Explorers.

And the club went all in on the arctic theme – thanks to parishioners constructing their very own igloo for the youngsters to play in.

The people of Castlemilk were asked to hand in empty four-pint milk bottles to build the igloo with.

It took five days to build, and nearly 1000 bottles were used to construct it.
