Win tickets for hilarious hit musical

Rutherglen Reformer - - The Ticket - King’s Theatre

The smash hit West End comedy musical ‘Avenue Q’ will bring a host of fuzzy friends to Glasgow’s King’s Theatre this month.

And The Ticket Lanarkshire has teamed up with the theatre to give away ten pairs of tickets to lucky readers.

Featuring the naughtiest puppets in town, brought hilariously to life by a cast of 11, ‘Avenue Q’ is a Tony Awardwinning musical about growing up, dreaming big, and finding your purpose in life.

Princeton goes to New York and moves to Avenue Q with some quirky characters. These include Brian the out-of-work comedian and his therapist fiancee Christmas Eve, Nicky the goodhearted slacker and his closet gay roommate Rod, an internet sexpert called Trekkie Monster and a cute kindergarten teacher named Kate Monster.

And the building’s superintendent is Gary Coleman.

Featuring songs including ‘The Internet is for Porn’ and ‘Everyone’s A Little Bit Racist’, ‘Avenue Q’ is a hilarious musical with a warm (and very fuzzy) heart.

‘Avenue Q’ is co-created by Robert Lopez, who also co-created the Broadway musical ‘The Book of Mormon’. With his wife Kristen Anderson-Lopez he wrote the songs for Disney’s animated feature ‘Frozen’ and he has worked on ‘The Simpsons’ and ‘South Park’.
