The NHS could prescribe e-cigarettes to help smokers kick the habit. However the proposal has drawn a mixed reaction from the public.

Christine Milne, said:“It’s a bit of a conflict of interest when they are cutting back on antibiotics to save money.
Liam Taylor (32), from Fernhill, said:“I went on them for a while but they just made my lungs worse.”
Jean Holloway (78) from Burnside said:“I don’t agree with it. E-cigarettes are just as harmful.”
