Changes to Nissan Navara pick-up
Nissan plans to introduce a new version of the NP300 Navara pick-up that comes with more load space and some new technology. The new truck will feature a surround-view camera system as well as having forward emergency braking which Nissan is claiming as a first in the pick-up market. The 12th generation pick-up has its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in a couple of weeks and sees the new NP300 Navara arriving with two versions of Nissan’s 2.3-litre diesel engine developing either 160 or 190ps. The engines replace the 2.5- litre diesels used in the previous model and fuel efficiency is said to be improved by up to 24 per cent which should give the new Navara an official fuel return of around 40mpg.Nissan is also offering the truck with a five year, 100,000 mile warranty instead of the three year, 60,000 mile limit on the current model.Pricing details have still to be announced.
