Ben­burb present a sterner test

Paul McColl reck­ons Ben­burb will be a stern test for Lang af­ter they drew their first game of the sea­son 3-3 at Port Glas­gow.

Else­where, new boys Gart­cairn won their first ever league match while Ash­field hit Royal Al­bert for six.

Paul said: “I haven’t seen the Port yet, but I was sur­prised Ben­burb didn’t get win. They trounced St Ant’s in the league cup and done well in a very dif­fi­cult sec­tion. It’ll be a tough game on Satur­day.”

New­mains will pick up points this year, they had a few right good play­ers and were dan­ger­ous through­out the match.
