Trial after trio deny breaking in to cafe
Three men appeared in court accused of stealing money and items from a cafe in Rutherglen.
Gary Andrew Duncan, of Bute Tower, Callum David Cummins, of Greenhill Road, and Daniel Henry Booth or Princess Street appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Tuesday (September 8).
Duncan (25), Cummins ( 19) and Booth ( 17) are accused of breaking into the Niu Cafe on Greenbank Street and stealing alcohol, a meat clever, a knife, cans of soft drinks, a till and cash to the value of £500.
All three pleaded not guilty and the case will go to trial on October 7. Bail as conintued.
