Woman denies assault charge
A woman has been accused of committing an assault in Rutherglen.
Gail Grierson, of Gairdoch Street in Falkirk, appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday (September 7).
On April 7 this year at a flat in Greenhill Court, Grierson (45) is accused of assaulting another woman by pulling her to the ground by her hair, punching her on the body and biting her on the breast.
During the course of a journey to Cathcart Police Office and at the police office, Grierson is accused of behaving in a threatening or abusive manner by shouting, swearing and uttering threats of violence.
Grierson maintained a plea of not guilty. She is due to reappear on September 30. Bail was continued.
Grierson is accused of committing the offences while on bail. She was granted bail on March 30 at Falkirk Sheriff Court.
