Woman ac­cused of tak­ing clothes

A Ruther­glen woman has been ac­cused of steal­ing sev­eral items at stores in Ed­in­burgh.

Mar­garet Watt of Burn­hill Street, was ap­pear­ing at Glas­gow Sher­iff Court on Tues­day ( Septem­ber 1) along with Frances Coyle of Anford Ter­race in Blan­tyre and Robert Sam­son, of Rigby Drive in Carn­tye.

On May 26, 2013 at a Tesco Unit at Her­mis­ton Gait Re­tail Park in Ed­in­burgh, Watt (48) and Coyle (39) are ac­cused of steal­ing a quan­tity of games con­soles and an item of cloth­ing. On May 26, 2013, at a USC in Fort Kin­nard Shop­ping Cen­tre, Ed­in­burgh, Watt, Coyle and Sam­son (53) are ac­cused of steal­ing a quan­tity of cloth­ing.

On Oc­to­ber 13, 2013, at the Tesco at Her­mis­ton Gait Re­tail Park Watt and Coyle are ac­cused of steal­ing a quan­tity of com­puter games. And on Oc­to­ber 13, 2013, at a sep­a­rate oc­ca­sion at the Tesco at Her­mis­ton Gait Re­tail Park, Watt and Coyle are ac­cused of steal­ing a quan­tity of com­puter games.

Watt pleaded not guilty and is due to reap­pear on Septem­ber 14. Bail was con­tin­ued.
