South La­nark­shire Coun­cil’s an­nual‘ Pos­i­tive Com­mu­ni­ties’ events are set to take place this week.

Res­i­dents are en­cour­aged to go along and give their views on lo­cal ser­vices.

The event also gives lo­cal res­i­dents the op­por­tu­nity to dis­cuss the ser­vices avail­able to them to help deal with anti so­cial be­hav­iour is­sues which may oc­cur.

Par­tic­i­pat­ing part­ners will in­clude Po­lice Scot­land, Scot­tish Fire and Res­cue, Uni­ver­sal Con­nec­tions, Area Hous­ing Of­fice, Anti So­cial In­ves­ti­ga­tion Team, Com­mu­nity War­dens, Me­di­a­tion Ser­vices, Vic­tim Sup­port and Re­gen: fx. Events are be­ing held at

● Blan­tyre Asda (Trol­ley Stand) – Thurs­day 17 Septem­ber, 10 am – 2 pm

● Hamil­ton Re­gent Shop­ping Cen­tre – Tues­day 22 Septem­ber, 10 am – 2 pm

● East Kil­bride Plaza Shop­ping Cen­tre – Thurs­day 24 Septem­ber, 10 am – 2 pm
