Youngsters from 113th Glasgow ( Burnside) Scout Group spent a weekend under canvas.

They enjoyed a camp last weekend at Auchengillan Outdoor Centre, near Blanefield.

Cubs, Scouts and Explorers camped out for the weekend and were joined by Beavers for a day visit on Saturday.

And the heavy rain which fell on Saturday didn’t dampen the spirit and everyone enjoyed themselves.

Beavers leader Fiona McAdam said: “They explored the woodland and built emergency shelters, made their own pizzas, and participated in activities such as grass sledging, crating and archery.

“Everyone who went along had an absolutely brilliant time,” she added.

Beavers meet on Wednesdays and all other sections meet on Fridays in the Scout Hall, Crawfurd Road, Burnside.

Any new members who wish to come along will be made most welcome.
