Harrelson set to go Ape
Woody Harrelson will get up to plenty of monkey business after signing on to play the human villain in blockbuster “threequel” War for the Planet of the Apes.
The Zombieland star (pictured, right) joins the returning Andy Serkis, once again bringing ape Caesar to life, and director Matt Reeves for the July 2017 follow-up.
Meanwhile, the helmer of the first in the new Apes trilogy, Rupert Wyatt, has pulled out of directing X-Men spin-off Gambit.
Citing scheduling conflicts, Wyatt’s departure leaves leading man Channing Tatum seeking new guidance for the flick.
