Danger driving charge
A 20-year-old Cambuslang man is to stand trial after denying driving dangerously and causing injury by striking a pedestrian.
A trial date of February 8 was been set after Anser Ali Sadiq, of Westfarm Crescent, Cambuslang, appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court on September 22.
He is charged with driving a Skoda Fabia dangerously on October 8 last year in Niddrie Road, Glasgow, striking a pedestrian and causing injury.
He is accused on the same date of causing a vehicle to stand on the road, causing an obstruction.
Sadiq is also charged with driving dangerously on October 12, 2014, outside 355 Castlemilk Road, pulling out in front of an oncoming car, travelling across the carriageway and colliding with a number of parked cars, causing them to collide with a further vehicle, resulting in damage to all cars involved.
He denies all charges.
