Snaps of the seasons can help capture council prize
South Lanarkshire Council have launched a year-long seasonal photography competition to capture what makes our area unique. Entry categories:
woodlands, orchards, designs in the landscape, industrial heritage, agriculture and horticulture. Deadline for entries November 30.
woodlands, built heritage, geology (rivers and rocks), industrial heritage. Deadline February, 29.
woodlands, wildlife, orchards, geology (rivers and rocks), industrial heritage. Deadline May, 31.
woodlands, wildlife, built heritage, play, agriculture and horticulture. Deadline August 31. Judging will take place quarterly following the deadline for each seasonal category with overall winners picked next September.
Each winning photographer will win a framed print of their photograph and submitted images may be selected for future Clyde and Avon Valley Landscape Partnership (CAVLP) exhibitions, postcards and digital interpretation of the area on the www.clydeand avonvalley.org website.
Photographs can be entered in a digital format to info@clydeand avonvalley.com.
