A Cambuslang man appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court on September 22, charged with stealing from an ATM.
Jeremy Paradine (44) of 67 Bute Tower, Cambuslang, is accused of using a bank card, forcing open an ATM at Cooperative Stores, Braemar Road, Rutherglen, on January 17 and stealing £300.
He is charged with committing the same offence at Asda, Toryglen Road, on January 21.
He denies the charges and will stand
trial on October 20. A 40-year-old man from Castlemilk has been charged with assaulting a woman with a baseball bat.
Paul Edmondson, of 15 Croftside Avenue, Castlemilk, is accused of having a baseball bat at 153 Croftside Avenue, Glasgow, and assaulting the woman by striking her on the body with it to her injury. He denies the charges. He is expected to appear on trial today .
