Weir wows at World Cup
Former Cambuslang Rugby Club star Duncan Weir helped Scotland keep up their winning start to the Rugby World Cup campaign by scoring a try in the victory over the USA.
The former Cathkin High School pupil went over in the corner to seal the points in the Elland Road match.
Glasgow Warrior Duncan and his Scotland mates now move on to matches against South Africa and Samoa at St James’ Park, Newcastle, as they bid to qualify from Pool B.
Duncan previously told the Reformer he was looking forward to these games as his friends and family will be there to offer support.
