Schools to share £340,000 pack­age

Thou­sands of pupils set to ben­e­fit

said the school would use the in­vest­ment to pro­mote science, tech­nol­ogy, en­gi­neer­ing and maths and de­velop their cur­ricu­lum to in­clude a cos­me­tol­ogy course.

He added: “We are de­lighted to con­tinue our long run­ning part­ner­ship with Clyde Gate­way.

“Over the years Clyde Gate­way have sup­ported us with study sup­port, work ex­pe­ri­ence, bi­cy­cle ini­tia­tives and have sup­ported our Com­mon­wealth Games ini­tia­tive which brought 300 pupils to­gether in a se­ries of ac­tiv­i­ties.

“They have also helped with our eco ac­tiv­i­ties and, along­side our­selves and Stonelaw, they’ve helped with an­ti­sec­tar­ian ini­tia­tives and rec­om­men­da­tions for two awards.

“Natalie Philips at Clyde Gate­way is al­ways look­ing for op­por­tu­ni­ties to in­volve the young peo­ple from the schools.”
