Pos­i­tive Com­mu­ni­ties event

South La­nark­shire Coun­cil will host a Pos­i­tive Com­mu­ni­ties event in Cam­bus­lang this week.

Res­i­dents are en­cour­aged to come along and give their views on lo­cal ser­vices and pro­vide any in­for­ma­tion they can about anti-so­cial be­hav­iour is­sues within their area.

The event also gives lo­cal res­i­dents the op­por­tu­nity to dis­cuss the ser­vices avail­able to them to help deal with an­ti­so­cial be­hav­iour is­sues which may oc­cur.

A range of part­ners and ser­vices will have staff avail­able on the day to pro­vide in­for­ma­tion and sup­port to res­i­dents and in­form them of any projects or ini­tia­tives that are de­liv­ered in their area to help tackle anti-so­cial be­hav­iour.

Par­tic­i­pat­ing part­ners will in­clude Po­lice Scot­land, Scot­tish Fire and Res­cue, Uni­ver­sal Con­nec­tions, area hous­ing of­fice, anti- so­cial in­ves­ti­ga­tion team, com­mu­nity war­dens, me­di­a­tion ser­vices, vic­tim sup­port and Re­gen:fx.

The event will take place at Cam­bus­lang Gate to­mor­row (Thurs­day) be­tween 10am and 2pm.
