Home care provider Carewatch South Lanarkshire has raised over £500 for Macmillan Cancer Support by hosting a coffee morning for staff and local residents.

Held on Friday, September 18, the coffee morning was a big success and enjoyed a good turnout.

Employees and service users donated a selection of cakes, home baking, tea and coffee, which were then offered for a small donation and all proceeds passed on to Macmillan.

Ca r ewat c h South Lanarkshire also sold raffle tickets and all prizes were donated by Carewatch Care/ Support Workers and office staff.

Director at Carewatch, Gary Nicol, said: “As we deliver care and support services ourselves, we understand the work charities do and how vital it is to help them continue.

“This is why we do our utmost to raise funds at every opportunity.”
