Dad learns with son

Rutherglen Reformer - - Intimations -

Dad Iain Muirhead knows how important it is to make the time he spends with his son enjoyable and would welcome ideas for making the walk to school an opportunity for some fun learning activities.

He says:“We’re lucky as our wee boy’s quite a morning person, much more so than his mum or dad.

“He’s fond of routine so we tend to be quite regimented in the mornings.

“He likes to chat and climb on walls on the walk to school but his focus is usually on getting to school as quickly as possible so he can have more time with his friends in the playground before the bell rings.

“Usually the subject matter of our chats centre on his latest wee-boy obsession.

“At the moment, it’s Doctor Who – but that could change tomorrow.“
