Croftfoot Parish Church were certainly on song recently.
They were holding a hymn-a-thon, and members of the congregation were happy to get involved and sing their favourite hymns.
The morning was a great hit, and proved a great chance for the parishioners to sing out loud, as well as raising funds for the church.
Carol McQuarrie of the church, said: “It is a fundraiser for the church funds organised by one of our members, Wilma Morrison.
“Each of our congregation can choose a hymn to be played and sung on the day, and give a donation.
“The hymnathon is held in the church sanctuary on a Saturday morning and Wilma compiles the list of hymns to be sung, usually the first verse of each, and chorus when there is one.
“This year, £660 was raised for the church funds.”
