Lo­cal ra­dio sta­tion in help plea

Cam­glen Ra­dio are look­ing for vol­un­teers for a va­ri­ety of roles.

The sta­tion need peo­ple in front of the mic, on the air and be­hind the scenes.

With­out vol­un­teers, the sta­tion would cease to ex­ist as lo­cal peo­ple are in­volved in ev­ery facet, from pro­duc­ing ra­dio pro­grammes to pro­vid­ing tech­ni­cal sup­port, pre­sent­ing pro­grammes, p rov i d i n g b ro a d c a s t as­sis­tance and much more.

The sta­tion have vol­un­teers f rom ev­ery age and back­ground. Many have had lit­tle or no ra­dio ex­pe­ri­ence un­til they started work­ing there.

Vol­un­teers can learn skills, meet like- minded peo­ple, build their con­fi­dence, get work ex­pe­ri­ence and sup­port a pro­ject that reaches out to ev­ery­one liv­ing in the lo­cal area

Pri­or­ity is given to res­i­dents of Cam­bus­lang, Ruther­glen and sur­round­ing ar­eas.
