Cam­glen Bike Town is run­ning work­shops to help riders main­tain their own bikes.

There are three lev­els to the course. Main­te­nance one cov­ers the essen­tials – road­side re­pairs and quick fixes.

Level two ex­plains brakes and gears and how to re­place ca­bles and make ad­just­ments. It takes place on Mon­day, Oc­to­ber 26 be­tween 6pm and 9pm.

Levelthree cov­ers wheels – how to strip hubs, re­plac­ing spokes and true­ing wheels. It will be held on a date still to be con­firmed in Novem­ber.

All classes take place in Ruther­glen West and Ward­lawhill Church and are free to peo­ple liv­ing and work­ing in Cam­bus­lang and Ruther­glen.
