Guilty of drug charges

A Ruther­glen man has pleaded guilty to a cat­a­logue of charges.

Paul Black of Barn­flat Street ob­structed po­lice car­ry­ing out their duty in Cam­bus­lang Road and ran off.

The 25-year-old also acted in a threat­en­ing or abu­sive man­ner.

He was also found in pos­ses­sion of class A drug co­caine with in­tent to sup­ply.

He also ad­mit­ted be­ing in pos­ses­sion of the class A drug am­phet­a­mine with in­tent to sup­ply and pos­ses­sion of cannabis.

The of­fences took place on Septem­ber 18 this year.

He faced a fur­ther charge that on Septem­ber 19 in Barn­flat Street he was in pos­ses­sion of cannabis with in­tent to sup­ply.

At Glas­gow Sher­iff Court this week Black pleaded guilty to all charges.

Sen­tence was de­ferred un­til Novem­ber 9.
