The Daffy Girls had also been part of a DVD night celebrating the history of the church on September 6.

As well as clips from the old wooden hall and the dedication of the new halls, there were clips from the many shows produced and directed at King’s Park.

The celebrations won’t end there though, with King’s Park marking their milestone right up until February next year.

Rev Sandra Boyd said: “King’s Park may only be 85 years old but has packed a huge amount and a great variety of groups have served God and their community well.

“Here’s to the next 85.”
