Panto power on the way at Hall

Rutherglen Reformer - - News - Jonathan Geddes

Edward Reid returns to Rutherglen in this year’s Christmas pantomime.

Sleeping Beauty will be at the Town Hall in Rutherglen from December 12 through until December 23.

The popular personality will be playing Fairly Lovabelle in this year’s show.

The classic plot sees the King and Queen celebrate the birth of their beautiful baby daughter by throwing a huge party and everyone is invited! Well almost everyone.

The wicked Fa i r y Horrendabelle has got wind of the news and is planning a terrible surprise of her own.

Armed with an evil spell and a spinning wheel she places a curse on the baby princess that only true love’s kiss can break.

It’s up to the good fairies, Fairy Lovabelle and Fairy Sensibelle to save the day with a little extra help from Muddles the brave but ever so silly court jester.

It all adds to a recipe for traditional panto fun.

Tickets are £12 or £10.50 for concessions, and can be bought via the box office in person, by calling 0131 613 5700 or online at www. sllcboxof
