Rutherglen man is accused of behaving in a threatening or abusive manner.
It is claimed that James Thomson (32), of Holmhills Grove, shouted, swore, threw furniture, seized a knife and threatened police officers.
The offences are alleged to have happened at Alloway Crescent and at the Southern General Hospital on May 30 this year. This week at Glasgow Sheriff Court, Thomson denied the charges. Trial was set for November 16. A Rutherglen woman faces a charge of carrying a knife.
Ruth Mary Carr ( 32), of Lochaber Drive, is alleged to have had the offensive weapon at Hamilton Road, Rutherglen.
The alleged offence happened on July 24 this year.
At Glasgow Sheriff Court this week, she denied the charge and trial was set for November 18.
