Two deny pub break-in

Two Cam­bus­lang men face charges that they tried to break into the Kirkhill Bar with in­tent to steal.

Wil­liam Han­non, of Co­nan Court, and Bradley Han­non, of Cadoc Street, are al­leged to have re­peat­edly kicked shut­ters and at­tempted to prise them open with a me­tal bar. The 18-year-olds were said to be on bail at the time of the al­leged of­fences in Oc­to­ber 2013.

Bradley Han­non is fur­ther charged with break­ing into a house in West­coates Road, Cam­bus­lang, in Novem­ber 2013 and steal­ing a jew­ellery box and wal­let.

At Glas­gow Sher­iff Court this week both de­nied the charges. Trial was set for Novem­ber 9.
