Two deny pub break-in
Two Cambuslang men face charges that they tried to break into the Kirkhill Bar with intent to steal.
William Hannon, of Conan Court, and Bradley Hannon, of Cadoc Street, are alleged to have repeatedly kicked shutters and attempted to prise them open with a metal bar. The 18-year-olds were said to be on bail at the time of the alleged offences in October 2013.
Bradley Hannon is further charged with breaking into a house in Westcoates Road, Cambuslang, in November 2013 and stealing a jewellery box and wallet.
At Glasgow Sheriff Court this week both denied the charges. Trial was set for November 9.
