At­tacked at work

A To­ry­glen man has pleaded guilty to as­sault­ing an Asda em­ployee.

Alan Usher, of Ker­ry­la­m­ont Av­enue, ap­peared from cus­tody at Glas­gow Sher­iff Court this week.

Usher ( 31), ad­mit­ted head­but­ting, goug­ing the eye, scratch­ing the neck, bit­ing and spit­ting on a male worker at the com­pany’s Prospecthill shop on Septem­ber 16.

He also shouted, swore, made racist re­marks and claimed he had a con­ta­gious dis­ease.

Sen­tence was de­ferred un­til Oc­to­ber 28 and he was re­manded in cus­tody.
