There’s some spooky goings on in Kirkhill

Rutherglen Reformer - - News -

There will be all sorts of spooky goings on at Kirkhill Halls this Saturday (October 31).

That’s because Friends of Cambuslang Park and Project 31 will be holding a joint Hallowe’en Party for locals.

All the usual Hallowe’en fun will be on offer, from dooking for apples to a fancy dress competition for the children.

Adults are encouraged to get in on the act too by dressing up and there will even be a magician, so lots of fun is assured for everyone.

The party will run from 2pm to 4pm at the Cairns Road venue, next to the Old Parish Church.

Last year’s event proved a real hit with all sorts of spooky outfits being on show.

Friends of Cambuslang Park was set up in 2007 with the aim of making the park accessible to everyone.

Since then, they have held a host of events to make the park the heart of the community once again.

Project 31 provide a wide variety of fantastic, free of charge activities and services to children, young people, parents and families in Rutherglen, Cambuslang and wider South Lanarkshire.
