A fash­ion­able way to help out char­ity

In 2015 the char­ity has pulled in £2,913,083.

El­iz­a­beth Par­tyka of the STV Chil­dren’s Ap­peal said: “We are de­lighted the staff and cus­tomers at Kirk­wood of Scot­land in Ruther­glen are get­ting be­hind the STV Chil­dren’s Ap­peal this year.

We hope ev­ery­one has a fan­tas­tic evening while rais­ing much needed funds for the one in five chil­dren liv­ing in poverty in Scot­land.”

Rob Wood­ward, chief ex­ec­u­tive of STV and trustee of the STV Chil­dren’s Ap­peal said: “The STV Chil­dren’s Ap­peal is com­mit­ted to in­vest­ing in projects in Scot­land that will make a real dif­fer­ence to chil­dren’s lives and the £2,913,083 raised this year will go a long way in achiev­ing this. On be­half of the STV Chil­dren’s Ap­peal we would like to say a huge thank you to ev­ery­one who has do­nated so gen­er­ously to this year’s Ap­peal.”

The VIP Day will run this Sun­day from 1pm to 4pm .
