“We’ve never learned any­thing from pre­vi­ous ex­pe­ri­ences like Iraq and Afghanistan.

“And I think the politi­cians didn’t lis­ten to peo­ple’s opin­ion about bomb­ing Syria,” said the 48-yearold gran.

“Cameron has al­ways wanted to do it and I was dis­ap­pointed that Labour leader Jeremy Cor­byn made it a free vote for his MPs.

“He should have made it a whip is­sue and in­sisted that his mem­bers all voted against it.

“I’ve got a wee grand­child, and I am fear­ful of what the fu­ture might hold for him down the line,” she added.
