The details of the deal were included in papers for the community and enterprise recourse committee on Tuesday.
The paper lists all contracts over £50,000 awarded by the department between April and September.
Among the contractors are Caley Construction, Covanburn Contracts Ltd and the council’s own ground services team.
Councillors also approved a £ 1.653m contract for the provision of wheelie bins to SSI Scheaffer Ltd, starting in May this year and running until the end of next October.
In total, the department awarded contracts worth £ 7.1m during the summer.
A list of enterprise service contracts was also given to councillors this week.
The list included £1.29m worth of contracts, the biggest being £ 900,000 to Ewing Construction Services for the maintenance of council structures.
