Members of Cambuslang Parish Church who are over 75 enjoyed an entertaining St Andrew’s lunch last week .
The event started with soup, sandwiches and tea or coffee with cakes before the fun continued with songs from May Nisbet and Jim Ferguson.
Then came the star attraction: a group of children from James Aiton Primary School, who gave a fine performance of several of the works of Robert Burns.
Kenny Finnie rounded off the entertainment by playing a medley of well known tunes on his accordion.
Margaret Macfarlane closed the afternoon by thanking Willie McCallum for providing the soup, everyone who kept the company entertained and everyone who worked hard to make the afternoon a success.
