Man denies assault on 12-year-old girl

A 20-year-old man faces claims that he assaulted a girl aged 12.

Ryan Roe, of Salvia Street, Silverbanks, Cambuslang, is alleged to have punched the girl on the head to her injury.

The incident is said to have taken place at the Nisa store on Western Road, Cambuslang, on December 27, 2014.

It is further claimed that on the same date at the same location, Roe behaved in a threatening or abusive manner by shouting, swearing and acting aggresively.

At Glasgow Sheriff Court this week he denied the charges and trial was adjourned until May 5, 2016.
