Drug sentence is deferred
A Cambuslang man has had his sentence deferred.
Richard McGhee, of Henderson Avenue, had previously pled guilty to having uncapped hypodermic syringes, placing police officers in danger of injury and infection.
He also admitted possession of the controlled drug diamorphine.
Both offences happened at Cathcart police office on May 30, 2014.
McGhee ( 30), also stole a mobile phone from Shelly McLean at Westburn Road, Cambuslang, on June 12, 2014.
At Glasgow Sheriff Court this week, sentence was deferred until March 21, 2016.
