Stone is ded­i­cated at site of Castlemilk’s new church

Castlemilk Par ish Church’s new build­ing has moved fur­ther for­wards.

Last week saw the ded­i­ca­tion stone at the new site blessed, as well as a time cap­sule be­ing buried.

On hand for the cer­e­mony was guest of hon­our, the Rt Rev An­gus Mor­ri­son, moder­a­tor of the Church of Scot­land.

There was also mu­sic per­formed, be­fore a re­cep­tion took place af­ter­wards.

The new build­ing is cur­rently on track to open in the sum­mer of 2016.
