An alleged bottle attack has landed a Cambuslang man in court this month.

Colin MacDonald is accused of striking a man on the head with a bottle, or similar instrument, at an address on Wallace Street, Glasgow, on March 14, 2014.

The 20 year old is also accused of punching another man on the head in the same incident and of behaving in a threatening and abusive manner alongside other men, whose identities remain unknown to the police.

MacDonald, of 12 Campsie View, pleaded not guilty to all three charges when he appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court on February 16.

He will return to court for a fixed intermediate diet on March 15.
