Have your say on proposed rezoning
Parents of children at four Cambuslang schools are being invited to give their views on a proposed rezoning of the catchment areas.
St Cadoc’s and Cairns primaries, as well as Cathkin and Trinity high schools could be affected.
Councillors agreed in December to change the zones to include a new development on Greenlees Farm.
It is predicted the 240-home development, which was given the go-ahead last week, will generate 38 nondenominational primary pupils and 13 denominational pupils, 30 non-denominational and 10 denominational secondary students and seven nursery aged children. The consultation lasts until Friday, March 11.
Details of how to make a representation are on South Lanarkshire Council’s website.
