Gordon suggested his staff could help them with odd jobs at their King’s Park home.

The company has been particularly helpful in recent months and visited Elma at the turn of the year when Fyfe had a short stay in hospital.

“They are lovely people and willing to help in anyway they can,” Elma told the Reformer. “It’s great because I think anything at all that comes up that we might need, or think we can’t manage at our age, we just phone them because I know they will go out of their way to do it.

“It means such a lot to know we can have it done. They look for small ways to make things easier for you. They are really, really helpful folk, there’s no doubt about it, it’s joy to have them about.”

People who would like to know more about the help on offer from Clyde Property Management, or to suggest a vulnerable neighbour, relative or friend who make use of the service, should telephone 0141 648 9254.
