From the Calton to Catalonia was recently performed at the Town Hall, and part of the story centred around the old Green’s Playhouse.

An image of the cinema was needed for the show, but Fairpley Productions were struggling to find one.

Luckily Fernhill woman Isabel Drain ( 88) had an image in an old book, which was able to provide a background image in the show.

Fairpley’s Jim Lister: “The picture was much appreciated - thanks to Isabel for her help with it.”
